| But it's a bit different. 1) Gutting the cats on an NA will increase top end. 2) Gutting the cars on an NA will decrease low end power/torque 3) Gutting the cats on ANY car creates turbulent flow as the heated air enters a wider chamber, the air swirls and actually slows down, then is forced out. Common sense for decades with exhaust In summary: Gutting cats on an NA *will* increase top end, *will* decrease bottom end and getting straight pipes/test pipes will always be better than gutting because it keeps the flow constant. :)
